It came to light that the womens second placed Wendy Wilson, a relative newcomer to Sarnia Walking Club events, was watched on Sunday by her 86 year old father Roger Brehaut who finished second in the 1955 event.
Pictured left in front of a big crowd at the finish and below his certificate of achievement.
On top of that the womens winner had a grandmother Miss Robilliard that finished as fourth woman back in 1938.
